Environmental Operations Park (EOP) – Preserving Sierra Vista's Resources At the EOP, the wastewater is treated without the addition of any chemicals, and without the use of ultraviolet light. Last year, this facility recharged almost twice as much water as Fort Huachuca used in the entire year! This facility is the most significant water mitigation project in our sub-watershed. In 2006, this facility recharged 2,231 acre-feet of water, or almost 727 million gallons! That’s more than 1 of every 3 gallons consumed within the city limits, including Fort Huachuca!
